THE KNOCKOUT BEGINS
It all started in a kitchen in Payson, Utah. Steve has a passion for gardening and began to be fascinated with peppers even though he couldn’t tolerate the heat. Looking into countless health studies on the benefits of capsaicin in diet—especially for diabetics—he began trying to increase his tolerance. He also loves to cook and realized the best way to preserve all the awesome peppers he was growing was to make them into shelf-stable hot sauces and pair them with recipes to bring out the flavor of each pepper, not just the heat. These sauces are handcrafted to be flavor-forward regardless of how much they burn. Some of them definitely hit hard.
After experimenting with pepper varieties, heat levels, and flavor profiles, he landed on something special. A sauce that combined intense heat with genuine flavor. Something that made you earn it.
That’s when Tongue Punch Pepper Sauce entered the ring.
